Teacher: Mr Preston
Hello and welcome to the Year Two class page!
My name is Mr. Preston and the Year Two TA is Mrs Swift. We are really looking forward to getting to know each child’s different personalities and seeing how each individual child shines in a variety of ways.
The children have settled well into Year Two so far and it is a pleasure to see the children enjoying their learning and trying their best every day.
Get to know the Year 2 team:
Mr. Preston – I really enjoy teaching PE, English and Math’s. I love to ski, as well as play and watch football, the team I support is Everton. My favourite singer is Jonny Cash. I also enjoy travelling to different places around the world!
Mrs. Swift – I am really lucky to work with the children in Year Two, I enjoy spending time with my family and travelling to different places around the world also.

Key Information
- Please ensure your child brings their reading books to school every day. Reading books and records are collected and changed every Thursday.
- Homework: Given to the children every Friday. – Please return by the following Friday.
- PE days: Tuesday and Wednesday (PE tracksuit to be worn on these days).
- After the Children’s first break, we have snack time. Please ensure your child brings in a snack every day (and a water bottle). This is also the time children have their milk.
